Healthcare: Preliminary Exam and Hepatitis B Vaccination
Organize medical monitoring before assignment to hazards. Vaccination obligations depend on activities and exposure, under the control of the occupational health physician.
The Occupational Well-being Code, version of June 13, 2026, frames the preliminary health assessment. Article I.4-26 allows its completion before the contract as the final stage of selection, under the conditions provided; it must precede the actual assignment to the position at risk.
Annex VII.1-6 provides for hepatitis B vaccination for exposed categories of medical examination or care services, including technical and maintenance staff. The exception targets administrative staff who never come into contact with substances likely to contain the virus. Institutions housing mentally ill people target nursing and educational staff.
Entrust the medical assessment to the occupational health and safety advisor-occupational physician. According to article I.4-12, a worker refusing mandatory examinations or vaccinations cannot be put to work or kept at work. Article I.4-13 prohibits selection examinations outside the legal framework.
