CP 121: Saturday, Sunday and night bonuses
Base salary does not cover all off-schedule work. The collective agreement of February 5, 2026 sets the bonuses to budget for the position.
Articles 4 and 5 provide for a 100 % bonus of normal salary for Sunday or holiday work and 25 % for Saturday. The Saturday bonus does not apply to overtime already increased under the work duration collective agreement.
Article 3 provides for a bonus for work between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. If this work includes at least six hours and is preceded or followed by two hours of work, those two hours also qualify for the bonus. Category 8 has a specific regime to check.
The collective agreement enters into force January 1, 2026 and expires June 30, 2027, subject to its specific provision on scope. Hourly bonus amounts are indexable: use their value as of the date of work.
