Posted drivers: declaration and documents
For road posting to Belgium, use the transport-specific declaration. It replaces the Limosa declaration in this scheme's scope.
An employer established in the European Union or the United Kingdom declares the posting before it starts via the public interface linked to IMI and keeps the data current. For an employer established elsewhere, the employment service indicates the Belgian application transport-declaration-detachement.belgique.be. The declaration also identifies the transport manager or contact person.
The driver must be able to present the declaration, proof of transport operations and tachograph recordings, on paper or electronically. After posting, the employer must provide documents requested by inspection within eight weeks of the request.
The Belgian framework transposes the Mobility Package by the law of June 19, 2022, published July 11, 2022. First verify that the operation constitutes posting subject to the scheme; do not treat every border crossing as posting.
