VOP: only previous files subsist
The Vlaamse ondersteuningspremie can no longer be requested for new hiring since July 1, 2023. Bonuses already awarded subsist during their award period; new requests fall under individueel maatwerk.
An employer benefiting no later than June 30, 2023 retains VOP for the awarded period. They check the decision and calculations in the WSE-loket. Since July 1, 2023, no extension or increase is granted within the VOP system.
For a five-year VOP, request evaluation in the individueel maatwerk system at least five months before its expiry. For a two-year VOP, the worker must have their support needs confirmed by VDAB before the employer submits the new request.
The service recalculates the bonus based on DmfA. Report changes of company, account, or contact; do not announce VOP as aid open for 2026 recruitment. This sheet describes a transitional system still applicable to existing files.
