Publish a VDAB offer with current occupations and skills

Since January 13, 2026, job posting entry on the employer portal uses Competent 2.0. The recruiter must select occupations and skills from this nomenclature.

A posting entered via werkgevers.vdab.be can no longer use Competent 1.0 data since January 13, 2026. Verify the selected occupation and proposed skills when creating or updating a posting.

For the Vacature Posting API, the source describes a transition whose end date is not yet indicated. It accepts one version or the other during this transition, but prohibits mixing them in the same offer: this combination results in rejection. Old data accepted are converted to Competent 2.0 for display.
