Do not assign a protected title to a candidate on the sole basis of their degree or experience. Verify their exact status in the ITAA registry.
Articles 4 and 7 of the Act of 17 March 2019 reserve the titles of certified accountant and certified tax advisor to persons registered with these qualifications. Article 9 also protects the titles of accountant and tax accountant.
Articles 4, 8 and 9 specify internal titles for salaried practice. Titles likely to cause confusion are also prohibited. Specify in the offer the quality truly required, and explicitly distinguish a trainee candidacy from a certified member candidacy.
