CP 200: mandatory training days

Legal obligationVerified

The number of training days depends on company size. For 2026 and 2027, companies with at least 20 employees must provide four individual days per year per full-time equivalent.

The 2024-2028 sectoral arrangement provides, in companies with fewer than 10 employees, an average of four days per FTE over each two-year period, of which an average of one individual day per year. Between 10 and 19 employees, the total is 4.5 days per FTE over two years, with the same average individual minimum.

From 20 employees, the trajectory goes from three individual days per year in 2024-2025 to four in 2026-2027, then five from 2028 onwards. Plan this entitlement in onboarding and training budget. Collective days constitute an envelope distributable among employees; this term does not necessarily mean group training. The reference date is the entry into force of the sectoral scheme in 2024.
