CCT No. 38: recruitment and selection
CCT No. 38 frames costs, documents, and equal treatment. It also contains conduct rules on job posting content, privacy, and confidentiality.
Articles 2 bis to 6 notably provide for equal treatment, assumption of employer-ordered tests, and prohibition of certified copies. An ordinary copy suffices; the original may be presented in case of doubt. Article 4 provides a certificate on request for the candidate subject to unemployment check.
Chapter IV distinguishes signatories' commitments regarding conduct rules. Article 8 lists the position, requirements, location unless impossible, any recruitment reservation, and application method. Article 9 provides for a written response within a reasonable time to candidates meeting requirements but not retained.
Articles 11 and 12 limit personal questions to what is relevant for the position and provide for confidentiality. Article 7 commits signatories to promote these rules among their members. Coordinated version last modified by CCT No. 38 sexies, effective October 10, 2008.
