Before the first hiring, obtain employer status with ONSS via WIDE.
The company must have a BCE number and request employer identification. This obligation also applies to individuals, nonprofits, and administrations that hire their first worker.
After WIDE processing, ONSS communicates the definitive ONSS number, NACE code, and employer categories. Verify this data with the payroll manager: registration in the employer registry allows introduction of Dimona and DmfA. Reference: ONSS instructions 2026/3.
