Flexi-jobs: access and minimum wage

RecommendationVerified

Check prior employment or pension status and apply the minimum wage corresponding to the sector.

The worker must have worked at least 4/5 with other employers in T-3. Legal pensioners are exempt from this requirement. Moving from 100% in T-4 to 80% in T-3 excludes flexi-jobs in T and T+1. Also check ordinary employment with the employer, linked companies, and severance payments, according to ONSS exceptions.

As of September 1, 2026, the hospitality minimum hourly wage is EUR 12.11 plus EUR 0.93 holiday pay, totaling EUR 13.04. Elsewhere, respect the function schedule or, if absent, the RMMMG converted to hourly rate. Holiday pay is 7.67%; employer contribution is 28% on salary and holiday pay.

Conclude the written master contract and flexi contracts before work begins. In temporary work, the master provisions appear in the temporary work contract. Also check the applicable salary ceiling on the ONSS page.

The instruction of September 10, 2026 clarifies that in temporary work, ordinary work in T-3 with the same agency does not count toward the 4/5, even with another user: https://www.socialsecurity.be/employer/instructions/dmfa/fr/latest/intermediates.
