Flemish Region: 650 hours and monthly ceiling

For students aged 18 to 25, the student ceiling is 650 hours per year at reduced contribution rates. The change to 650 hours took effect January 1, 2025. Up to 80 hours per month can be added at ordinary contribution rates.

Hours exceeding the student quota count toward these 80 hours. If this monthly ceiling is exceeded, Groeipakket is lost for that month. Maintenance also requires other regime conditions, notably regarding social benefits. Notify the fund of any change in employment situation.
