Sector (CP 302): Horeca wages and student wages
Classify the Horeca position in the correct job category before announcing the wage. Standard wages and flexi-job pay are separate regimes.
The official sheet effective September 1, 2026 presents standard wages on a 38-hour-per-week basis. At zero years of function, gross hourly minimums are notably 15.2097 euros for categories I and II, 15.2977 euros for III, 15.9698 euros for IV, and 16.8849 euros for V. The minimum monthly wage for categories I and II at this level is 2,504.53 euros.
Wages then depend on years of function. For a student contract, the percentage of the category wage scale is 70% at age 15, 80% at age 16, 90% at age 17, and 100% at age 18. These percentages do not exempt checking whether tasks and schedules are permitted for the young person.
