Sector (CP 201): independent retail wages
Choose the wage scale according to company group, workforce size, function, and experience. The official grid effective since May 2026 avoids announcing a uniform minimum wage for all retail.
The page is effective May 1, 2026, after a 2% indexation. For group 1, sales staff of companies with fewer than 20 workers, at zero years of experience, gross monthly minimums are 2,037.81 euros in category 1, 2,094.97 euros in category 2, 2,126.02 euros in category 3, and 2,258.40 euros in category 4.
First identify the group and category corresponding to actual tasks. Administrative staff have separate tables. In the group 1 table for sales staff of companies with 20 or more workers, category 1 employees move to category 2 after six months seniority in the company. Also check the applicable guaranteed average minimum monthly wage.
