Activa.brussels: closure and transition in 2026
Since July 15, 2026, activa.brussels no longer funds new hires. Actiris plans a transition for contracts already started, until December 31, 2026.
The notice to employers covers activa.brussels, activa.brussels plus, and activa.brussels reduced capacity. For a recruitment performed after the July 15, 2026 closure, do not deduct an activa allowance from the projected salary cost.
Actiris clarifies that the deduction continues for contracts started before July 15, 2026, until December 31, 2026. As of January 1, 2027, the employer must bear the full salary without this deduction. Verify the effective contract start date in transitional files.
The disability bonus and training incentive are no longer available. Programs such as Stage First or FPIE no longer provide access to an activa certificate. The page announces work on replacement measures without yet setting their conditions.
